Aim to deliver a comprehensive electronic parts management solution to Esterline CMC Electronics

Inlynk, a software solutions provider for OEM’s and EMS’s in the electronics industry, has partnered with SiliconExpert Technologies, an electronic components database, to provide extensive technical and operational data related to components.

The SiliconExpert EDI will give Optymo users access to chemical & environmental compliance data. They will also be able to accurately forecast obsolescence for electronic components. Dealing with this information is crucial at the design phase for some specific industries.

In the aerospace market, products are usually complex in nature and require substantial investments with respect to engineering and certifications of all types. Most of the products’ life often exceeds twenty years. Therefore it is essential to be able to track the lifecycle of the components and analyze the business risks in future years.

Esterline CMC Electronics, designer and manufacturer of leading technology electronics products for the aviation and an Optymo user is looking forward to this update. “The benefits of using a third party to connect our internal applications to Optymo and access business information in real time are in subcontracting the maintenance of communication interfaces. Optymo will be adapted by INLYNK with respect to future changes in external databases that will largely become transparent for Esterline CMC Electronics. This will reduce our internal maintenance costs,” says Yves Noiseux, estimating manager at Esterline CMC Electronics.
