“The MCMA is a great fit for us,” comments Christian Fell, head of POSITAL in North America.
“Our sensors are widely used in industrial automation and motion control systems and we are very pleased to be participating in a group dedicated to promoting the use of automation technologies.
“We aim to use the MCMA as a platform for providing support for system integrators with an interest in motion control and motor control technologies.”
Fell will be making a presentation on the use of magnetic encoders in motor controls at the MCMA 2015 Technical Conference in Tampa, FL (November 3-5). POSITAL will also be sponsoring an MCMA Webinar on the impact of magnetic technologies on rotary encoder design on November 10, 2015, at 11:00 AM, EST.
The MCMA was formed in 2015 through the merger of the Motion Control Association (MCA) and the Small Motors Manufacturers Association (SMMA). It is headquartered in Ann Arbor Michigan and has over two hundred members.
POSITAL’s portfolio of motion and position control sensors includes IXARC incremental and absolute rotary encoders, TILTIX inclinometers and LINARIX linear position sensors.
