Schleuniger Inc., a leading international manufacturer of high-precision wire processing machines, hosted an open house to celebrate its new Canadian branch office in Oakville ON recently.

Alliance firms, Cirris Systems, Gem Gravure and Panduit each exhibited at the event, providing live product demonstrations showcasing the latest in wire processing, cable testing, marking and coding and end-to-end wire management solutions. Attendees were given the opportunity to meet with experts in these fields to discuss their unique applications one on one.

First established in 1991 and representing one of six locations in North America for Schleuniger today, the Oakville facility is focused on providing high-quality service to its Canadian and northern New York State customers, according to Harry Coates, Canadian regional sales manager.

“We sell innovative solutions for all wire processing applications, including machines that do everything from measure, cut and strip, to mark and connectorize,” says Coates, who was directly responsible for establishing the firm’s Canadian office. “Our main responsibility in the Canadian office is to service our customer’s directly with the delivery of parts and factory trained service.”

The firm’s machines deliver short setup times, high flexibility, networkable software and intuitive operation, complementing a wide range of accessories.

Schleuniger sells direct across Canada, however, it recently appointed Burnaby BC-based G2 Manufacturing as its representative in Alberta and British Columbia.
