Hammond appoints VP North American electrical sales & marketing

Hammond Manufacturing Co. Ltd. has added an experienced new talent to its team, as the firm focuses on significant long term growth in both Canada and particularly the United States. Andreas Sobotta has joined Hammond as vice-president of North American electrical sales & marketing. With the addition, the electrical enclosure team seeks to further develop its sales and marketing programs and create more synergies between its Canadian and USA groups.

Sobotta has held senior roles in the electrical/controls worlds for many years. Most recently he held the role of national sales manager with Davis Controls; and has held Canadian based roles as vice-president of marketing with Festo, business unit manager with Siemens and co-general manager/director of sales and marketing at Phoenix Contact.
