Sager Electronics, Middleborough MA, distributor of Interconnect, Power and Electromechanical components, has launched its Sager Power Systems, a specialized group within Sager Electronics focused solely on power.
In early 2014, Sager expanded its power supply product offering and field application team. Then, in June, Sager acquired PowerGate LLC, a premier North American power specialist, accelerating its strategy. At year end, Sager completed the integration of PowerGate setting the stage for this launch.
“The newly created Sager Power Systems group provides customers all of the benefits of a leading distributor with a specific focus on power,” says Frank Flynn, president of Sager Electronics. “This dedicated team of highly trained, technically experienced professionals provides our customers an unparalleled level of technical knowledge to leverage our broad offering of world class power supply manufacturers,” he adds.
“Sager Power Systems is comprised of power systems sales engineers, field application engineers and inside sales specialists specifically working with customers in the selection and design of power products,” says Rich Arieta, director of sales engineering for Sager. “We provide more than 15,000 world-class ac-dc and dc-dc standard solutions from leading power supply manufacturers and are able to evaluate and specify standard and value added solutions.”
