Together with their community partners, The A100 announced the launch of the AccelerateAB Keynote Series, the next step in the growth of AccelerateAB, Alberta’s premier tech startup event.

“The purpose of the new Keynote Series is to distribute the learning and connecting that AccelerateAB is famous for throughout the entire year” says The A100’s executive director Carolynn Winterhalt. “It will bring together speakers, collaborative conversation, and world-class networking opportunities, leading up to the two-day conference in May 2015.”

The organizers of AccelerateAB have always been committed to listening to the needs and wants of the Alberta tech community while planning the yearly conference, and this commitment is extending to Keynote Series as well. “The topics and themes of the Keynote Series events will be community driven, and crowdsourced. We will be doing reach-outs to see what the community would like to see discussed, and we will also be soliciting feedback after each event” says Winterhalt.

The inaugural event, to be held in Edmonton on October 14 and in Calgary on October 15, will feature a keynote talk by Jack Newton, University of Alberta grad and CEO & Founder of Clio. Tickets to this event are available via The A100’s Eventbrite page.
