Delta-Q Technologies, Burnaby BC, has appointed Steve Blaine to the position of vice-president, engineering. A proven veteran of the electronics industry, Blaine will lead the company’s engineering and R&D functions as it continues to execute its strategy to develop innovative battery charging and power conversion solutions for Delta-Q’s OEM customer base.

Steve has a track record of bringing innovative products to market and leading diverse engineering teams at the highest level of successful organizations,” says Ken Fielding, president and CEO of Delta-Q Technologies. “We think he is the right person to lead our engineering teams as we focus on realizing our aggressive growth plans.”

Blaine comes to Delta-Q from Aurora Control Technologies, where he also held the position of vice-president, engineering in the startup company, focused on production measurement and control systems for the photovoltaic manufacturing industry. Prior to Aurora, he led the global engineering function of Sierra Wireless, where he helped the company enter new markets and solidified his reputation as a leader who balances technical prowess, executive management, and interpersonal leadership skills.
