Canon Canada to amalgamate OCE as a division

Canon Canada Inc., Mississauga ON, leader in digital imaging solutions, announced that Oce-Canada Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary since January 2013, has been amalgamated as a division of the company and will operate under the name Professional Printing Solutions Group, effective immediately.

As the leading provider of document management and printing solutions for professionals and with a history dating back to 1877, the Professional Printing Solutions Group, formerly Oce-Canada Inc., have product offerings which include digital presses, high speed digital production printers and wide format printing systems for both technical documentation and colour display graphics.

 The Professional Printing Solutions Group will continue to serve a variety of industries ranging from architecture, engineering and automotive to graphic arts, advertising, transaction and direct mail.

Under the Professional Printing Solutions Group, new and existing enterprise customers can expect to take advantage of Canon Canada’s innovation in digital technology, while having the benefit of using Oce branded products. As part of the amalgamation, Patrick D’Souza, who served as Oce-Canada Inc.’s president and CEO since 2000, will join Canon Canada’s Leadership Team as the senior vice-president and general manager of the Professional Printing Solutions Group.
