TeraXion strengthens international sales in telecommunication R&D labs and optical manufacturing environment

Electronics CELTeraXion announces the agreement concluded with TeraComm and Ward/Davis Associates, adding them as sales representatives in the United States. This addition strengthens TeraXion's international presence and complements an already vast international distribution channel.
TeraComm and Ward/Davis Associates will offer TeraXion’s product line designed for the needs of R&D telecommunication labs as well as the optical solutions manufacturing environment. TeraXion’s product line includes tunable narrow-linewidth lasers, chromatic dispersion emulators, full C-band tunable filters and tunable dispersion compensation benchtop modules.
“Worldwide telecom labs are continuously seeking state-of-the-art solutions in order to succeed in research projects, which are becoming increasingly demanding”, said Martin Guy, Vice-President of Product Management and Technology. “We want to work closely with our customers to provide solutions that fulfill today’s needs while identifying tomorrow’s requirements of next-generation optical communication systems”, he added.
TeraXion is fully based in Quebec City, Canada. Its business model for promoting international sales is to partner with specialized local sales organizations such as I-Wave Co. in Japan, Luster LightTech in China, Wave Technologies in Israel, Boreal Communications in Brazil, Panoptics in South Korea and Municom in Germany.
