Phoenix Contact celebrates HQ grand opening

Phoenix Contact officially opened its new state-of-the-art Canadian Headquarters in Milton, ON, on Monday, the culmination of more than five years of planning.

Next year, Phoenix Contact will celebrate its 30th anniversary in Canada. {nomultithumb}

The new facility is equipped to offer training and proof of concept testing, as well as an extensive showroom and exhibition area. The new building houses a warehouse and a value-added area, as well as offices and training facilities.

With an established and long standing reputation of bringing connection and interface solutions through its value added team, Phoenix Contact will now bring networking, wireless, automation and control expertise to its customers supported by a team of recently hired field application engineers.

Milton mayor Gordon Krantz and Phoenix Contact’s executive vice president from Germany, Frank Stührenberg, were on hand to perform ribbon-cutting duties.

The company also recently opened an Eastern Regional Technology Center in St-Laurent, QC, in 2010, and is opening a Western Regional Technology Center in Calgary later this month.
