Altairnano launches Application Kit to give OEMs its advanced battery technology

Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (Altairnano) - a provider of response battery systems technology - announced the release of its Application Kit designed "to give original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) the ability to apply its advance lithium-titanate battery systems in a test environment simulating real-world operating conditions."
The kit includes Altairnano’s 24 volt, 50 ampere-hour battery module, a connection and control unit, and a NetBook computer. It also includes a battery management system and is scalable to test different battery modules, voltages and amperage configurations.
