XP Power has announced three families of low power, isolated and regulated DC/DC converters. In an industry standard metal-cased DIP-24 package measuring 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40 inches (31.75 x 20.32 x 10.40 mm), the converters offer 8, 10 and 12 Watt output models with a 2:1 input voltage range. The DIP-24 format makes them suitable as a low cost drop-in replacement or a power upgrade in existing end products, saving the need to redesign the PCB layout. The JCJ08 and JCJ10 series are rated at 8 and 10 Watts respectively while the JCG12 is rated at 12 Watts. The units offer the wide 2:1 input voltage options of 9 – 18 VDC, 18 – 36 VDC or 36 – 75 VDC, covering the nominal application voltages of 12, 24 and 48 VDC.
