Digi-Key Corp. has entered into an agreement with Finisar Corp., a leader in fibre optic solutions for high-speed networks, for the distribution of Finisar’s optics products in North America. For two decades, Finisar has been a leading provider of pluggable optical modules for the datacom and telecommunication industries. Finisar’s network modules, components, and development kits are now featured in Digi-Key’s print and online catalogues and are available for purchase directly from Digi-Key. “We are very pleased to enter into this new partnership agreement with Finisar,” said Mark Larson, president and COO of Digi-Key. “We are certain that Finisar’s products will be of high interest and appeal to our customers as they enable efficient designing and testing of networking systems.”
