Allen-Vanguard Receives $10 Million Order

OTTAWA — Allen-Vanguard Corp. announced that it has received an order valued at US$10 million for dismounted electronic counter-measures equipment (ECM or jammers) for a Commonwealth customer. Allen-Vanguard stated on May 15, 2008 with the release of its second quarter results for fiscal 2008 that it was processing approximately $50 million in expected orders for ECM equipment in the very near term. "We are pleased to see this pending order progress to a formal contract," said David E. Luxton, company president and CEO. "This additional order underlines the continued confidence in our battle-proven counter-IED systems and services and we are proud to be supporting the vital mission of a key Commonwealth customer."
 Allen-Vanguard supports the mission of military and homeland security forces around the world with leading proprietary solutions for protection and counter-measures against hazardous devices of all kinds, whether chemical, biological, radiological or explosive (CBRNE), including improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and remotely controlled IEDs (RCIEDs).
