MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Fluke Electronics Canada announced that it is the co-recipient of Fluke Corp.’s highest international sales honour, the Bob Hagger Award, for 2005. Fluke Singapore (Fluke South East Asia Pte. Ltd.) is the other award winner.
Bob Hagger, late international sales program manager, died in a plane crash in 1990 while on business in India. In memory of Bob, each year Fluke Corp., a test tool manufacturer, recognizes one country’s sales organization for outstanding performance. The country must achieve sales forecast, significant year-to-year growth and exhibit professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm – all qualities Bob Hagger personified.
In 2005, Fluke Electronics Canada achieved outstanding sales results including significant growth in the precision measurement, industrial distribution and Fluke networks businesses.
"The sales performances of these two countries, along with exceptional financial management, outstanding teamwork, and commitment to corporate goals make them stand out over all other country performances," noted Barbara Hulit, president of Fluke Corp. "Both Fluke Electronics Canada’s and Fluke South East Asia’s growth performances have positioned these two countries as a benchmark for other countries to emulate."
