The device provides absolute angle information in a digital format, and targets motion sensing applications in the industrial and automotive markets where a resolution below 0.1 degree of angle is required. The user can continuously access a serial digital output and pulse width modulated (PWM) output at the same time. The angular position information is provided in the form of a serial data stream and as a PWM signal with a resolution of 4096 positions per revolution (0.09¬? per step).
