The next generation of Bourns Multifuse surface mount polymer positive temperature coef-
icient (PPTC) components protect electronic equipment from overcurrent events. MF-NSMF - 1206 footprint product family, hold current 0.12-1.50 Amps.
MF-MSMF – 1812 footprint product family, hold current 0.10-2.60 Amps. MF-SMDF – 2018 footprint product family, hold current 0.30-2.00 Amps. The devices are rated to the same values as the existing MF-MSMD (1812) product family so changing to the smaller component will not result in any downgrade in performance.
