E-T-A wins Lockheed Martin supplier award

The Star Supplier award is considered to be the highest honour for Lockheed Martin suppliers. Out of over 1,500 suppliers, E-T-A joins suppliers Lockheed Martin considers the ‘Best of the Best,’ according to Carol Linwood, purchasing manager materials management for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co.

The Star Supplier award is determined by the following criteria: quality; performance feedback; on-time delivery; affordability; and management and ability to handle requests, feedback, and issues. The criteria are measured at all Lockheed Martin’s facilities nationwide.

Lockheed Martin’s evaluation of E-T-A revealed that E-T-A provided 100 per cent quality testing, zero rejections, and on-time delivery on 100 per cent of shipments. According to Dennis Bachta, procurement quality assurance representative for Lockheed Martin, in his 25 years experience with Lockheed suppliers, "E-T-A is one of the few suppliers to achieve such high ratings in these criteria."

E-T-A supplies high performance circuit breakers to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. for critical projects such as the FA-22 Raptor, F-16 Falcon, the C-130, and the newest project, the Joint Strike Fighter.? E-T-A’s partnership with Lockheed began 10 years ago on the F-22 Raptor program.
